Marginal Revolution has a piece on the playmate indicator. This is now my new favorite research project that makes me think: how in the world did they get funding to do the field work?
Previously my favorite was from Andrea Morrison and Roberta Rabellotti who had the horrible task of working closely with Italian wine makers.
