Why modern media is so bad

Sadly, a new video from the Onion News seems to be an all too accurate view of pundits and their desire to say whatever keeps them popular.

This is even more interesting after listening to yet another Bill Moyers Journal on the state of modern media. You know things are bad when this is a totally reasonable thing for Moyers to say:

When Tim Russert died, I thought they should ask Jon Stewart to take over at "Meet the Press" because he would go after the elites, and liberated everybody else in Washington would follow suit, and break up that cozy game.
