- I have heard the claim that CO2 is not a pollutant before. The problem is, its normally from nutty climate change denialists and those representing energy companies. Its disappointing to see it discussed seriously in the CS Monitor. (HT to UN Dispatch)
- The US government has come out with a report on the effect of climate change on the US. New Scientist has an interactive map that shows the findings.
- As I feared, the farm lobby got involved in the newest climate change bill and made a mockery of the issue. Americans pay less for food than anyone in the world by a large margin, and as a consequence we eat incredibly unhealthily, for ourselves and the environment. Its time to cut to welfare strings to big agriculture.
