You never know who's watching

Simon Duke, a reporter for the Feedinfo News Service, recently alerted me that Gary Johnson, the McDonald's Senior Director of Worldwide Supply Chain, mentioned a forthcoming paper of mine in a presentation to the World Meat Congress (a meeting of meat producers).

No, he wasn't citing my estimations of the huge impact of meat production on the environment. He was citing the first part of the paper, where I estimate meat demands for the future.

The moral of the story is, no matter what you do, someone will find a way to turn it into evil.
